The Empire Porcelain company produced a wide range of wares from table ware to fancy goods. In the 1930's they produced studio pottery in the form of art drip ware. These were in several colour combinations which produced a popular art deco effect. These colour combinations were applied to remarkable shapes which are still unique today. Once you have seen it you easily recognise it.

A few examples of the type of work illustrating the colours and shapes are displayed here. The items shown represent only a fraction of the artistic and design talents of the factories employee's. There is very little available in present day literature to assist research into this company.
